Lindgren Craft Brewery
Lindgren Beer of Duncannon is a fast-growing locally owned craft brewery that supports the restoration of Clarks Ferry Tavern by dedicating a portion of its sales to the Tavern during events on the Green, and has even named a beer after the Tavern! Lindgren also crafted a special beer for Perry County's 2020 Bicentennial Celebration. The Friends of Clarks Ferry Tavern is grateful to Lindgren for their continued support in preserving our regional heritage.
The Doyle Hotel
The Doyle Hotel and Clarks Ferry Tavern have much in common - both were initially founded in the late 18th Century. The current Doyle was reconstructed in 1905 and, since the opening of the Appalachian Trail in the late 1930s, has been a destination stop for tens of thousands of trekkers. Now under the stewardship of the Don Failor family, the Doyle is experiencing a renaissance. The Friends appreciate the support that the Doyle has provided for the restoration of Clarks Ferry Tavern. Together these two heritage properties are once again destinations for travelers and tourists.
The Doyle Hotel and Lindgren Brewery are located adjacent to one another on the square on Main Street in Duncannon, Pennsylvania, six blocks south of Clarks Ferry Tavern.
