The Bicentennial Perry County Heritage Marker Trail

In commemorating the county’s 200th anniversary in 2020, the Bicentennial Committee oversaw the research, editing, manufacturing, and installation of 122 historical markers around Perry County.  Interested parties were directed to the Perry County Heritage Trail website which was bequeathed to the Friends of Clarks Ferry Tavern for stewardship. 

The list below articulates the location of the markers by area and address for those who wish to visit in person.  Additional elements of the no longer maintained Perry County Heritage Trail website are also incorporated into the  Clarks Ferry Tavern site, such as the covered bridges and Bicentennial interview videos, thus continuing to preserve the important historical research of the Bicentennial historians in a fiscally responsible manner.
